Founder - Charles Milgrom, MD, PhD                                                        

Charles is a professor emeritus of orthopedic surgery at the Hebrew Univ. Medical School in Jerusalem. He specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery and military medicine, practicing at the Hadassah University Hospital. His research interests are focused on biomechanics and overuse injuries. He is the author of 2 books and more than 116 peer reviewed publications in these fields. Charles was previously head of the biomechanics laboratory and orthopedic computerized laboratory at the Hadassah Hospital. He received a BS in biochemistry and chemistry from the University of Chicago and attended graduate school in the Dept. of Pharmacology at the University of Chicago. He is the head of research support organizations at the University of Chicago, the Hebrew University Military Medical School, the Weizmann Institute, the Ben Gurion University, Haifa University and the Technion. He is a co-founder and active in five start-up companies, most of which are in the healthcare industry.
